⚠️ Incident Report: Network-Wide Channel Terminations
On December 6, 2025, a single channel in our network received 3 copyright strikes, which triggered YouTube's automated system to incorrectly terminate multiple innocent channels linked to our AdSense account.
Investigating

Reported: December 7, 2025

1. The Root Cause (What Happened?)

On December 6, 2025, a single channel in our network, "Squid Vibes", received 3 Copyright Strikes from a rights holder ("Mahjong Family"). Under YouTube's strict enforcement policies, this resulted in the immediate termination of that specific channel. The Agency Impact: Because MonetizeMyanmar serves as the AdSense Manager for this channel, YouTube's automated system flagged our agency's central AdSense account as "associated" with the violation.

2. Why Innocent Channels Were Affected (The "Link")

YouTube uses an automated system to detect "Linked Accounts" to prevent banned users from starting new channels. The Technical Trigger: Since our innocent clients (like you) grant MonetizeMyanmar a "Manager" role for monetization services, your channel is technically linked to our AdSense account. The Error: When our AdSense was flagged due to "Squid Vibes," the YouTube system incorrectly assumed that ALL channels managed by us are owned by the same person who committed the violation. The Result: The system triggered a mass termination of all clients linked to our agency, labeling them as "Circumvention" (trying to evade a ban), even though you have 0 strikes and 0 violations.

3. The Current Obstacle: YouTube Support's Misunderstanding

We are currently in direct contact with YouTube Partner Support (including human specialists), but we are facing a specific policy hurdle. The Misinterpretation: YouTube Support currently views the "AdSense Link" as proof of Shared Ownership. Our Reality: We are a Service Provider. We are distinct legal entities from our clients. We do not own your content; we manage your revenue. YouTube's View: Their system treats the AdSense holder as the "Primary Owner." Therefore, they believe the innocent clients are the banned "Squid Vibes" owner trying to hide. The "Brand Account" Confusion: Support agents are struggling to verify our separation because many clients use Personal Channels with "Studio Permissions" rather than "Brand Accounts." YouTube Support has stated they cannot easily verify that the "Owner" and "Manager" are different people on Personal Channels. As a result, they are currently refusing to manually unlink innocent channels until the original "Squid Vibes" copyright issue is resolved.

4. What We Are Doing Right Now

We are executing a two-part recovery strategy: Primary Fix (Legal Retraction): We have contacted the legal rights holder (Mahjong Family) to retract the strikes against "Squid Vibes." YouTube Support has confirmed that once this retraction is processed, all innocent channels will be automatically reinstated. Secondary Fix (Identity Challenges): We are submitting government IDs and visual network diagrams to YouTube Support to prove that our clients are innocent Third Parties, unrelated to the banned channel. Estimated Timeline: We are waiting for the legal team's response. Please expect a resolution window of 7 to 10 business days.
